French
This term we will begin a topic called ‘Portraits’.  We will look at shapes and colours, prepositions of place and describe some Matisse paintings.  We will learn parts of the face and body and use adjectives to describe them and create our own pictures.  We will read a storybook called ‘Va t’en grand monster vert’.

Home Learning

Each child should read for 30-40 minutes a day and complete regular reading journal entries. They should complete at least one Read Theory quiz a week.

English and Maths home learning is set each week to practise skills taught in class and weekly spellings that teach spelling rules and patterns.
